Wedding Photo and Video FAQs

How soon will we receive our wedding photos and videos?

In order to keep the quality of our work very high we give every wedding the post-production time it deserves and we don’t rush the editing process. That’s why we guarantee delivery within the timeframes listed below. If a wedding occurs during our busy season we may need the full length of time, however, we always aim to deliver them sooner.

1 Week After Wedding – Preview photos sent
3 Months After Wedding – Wedding photos sent
6 Months After Wedding – Wedding videos Sent

What happens if you can’t make it to our wedding for some reason?

In the unlikely event that we get sick or an emergency comes up, we’ll provide you with a trusted associate shooter with the same style and quality. This will be at no additional cost to you. We’ll still edit everything in the same Like Morning Sun style. We’lll make sure you’re taken care of!

We aren’t comfortable in front of a camera, what do we do?

Lots of couples we work with prefer not to be in front of the camera. We’ll help you to loosen up and put you at ease. The images that we deliver to you will be beautiful!

How do we pay? Do you offer a payment plan?

We do a 50/50 payment plan. 50% of the total package is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day.

Do you travel?

Occasionally. Our main service area is Flagstaff, Sedona, and Phoenix. If you’d like us to capture your wedding outside of this area, feel free to tell reach out! The sooner you connect with us the more likely we’ll be able to travel to your wedding.

Can we request changes to our photos or videos after you deliver them?

We carefully edit every aspect of your wedding photos and videos so that we present to you a complete and beautiful work of art. In choosing us as your wedding photo and video team, you are trusting us to make the appropriate creative choices congruent with our portfolio. However, if you find something that you would like adjusted, you can notify us within 2 weeks of receiving your images and we’ll offer 30 minutes of complimentary revisions. We’ll charge for further requested changes.

Wedding Photography FAQs

Can any of our family and friends download and print photos from the gallery?

Yes! You can download the images to view on any of your devices and print for displaying in your home, photo albums, sharing on social media, or any other personal use. We do not allow you or your guests to sell the images we provide, use them for commercial purposes, or credit the work as their own.

How long are the photos in the online gallery for?

Your photo gallery is live for one year after your wedding day, and you can extend your gallery for a small fee. We’ll notify you if we’re about to close your gallery so that you have the opportunity to download all the photos or extend your gallery.

Can we print the photos wherever we want?

You can print photos straight from the online gallery that we provide to you, however, you’re not required to print from there. If you download and print images on your own, make sure to download the high resolution versions so that you get the best quality.

Do the photos turn out well when enlarged on a canvas or large print?

Yes. We make sure to maintain excellent image quality throughout our production process. You’ll be able to print bright portrait photos up to 4 feet by the longest dimension for close-up viewing in your home. The printing company you choose will also play a factor in the visual quality of your prints as well.

Wedding Videography FAQs

How do you choose the music for our wedding video?

We're required to license the music that we use in our films, so we use the industry leading music licensing service, Musicbed. We choose songs for your wedding film based on your personality, style, and the vibe you created for your wedding. Our filmmaking style is lighthearted, dreamy, and touching, so we choose songs that are a perfect fit between your style and the style we portray in our portfolio. If you have a specific song or genre in mind, let us know!

Do you have a drone?

Yes, Greg is a licensed drone pilot. As long as there are no FAA regulations in the airspace above your venue and your venue allows drone coverage, we’d love to capture aerial footage at your wedding!

Do we need more than one videographer?

Probably not. We capture most weddings with one videographer. We may suggest adding an additional videographer if you have over 150 guests, you’re each getting ready in locations that are far apart, or you have multiple events going on at the same time that you want captured.

Will you work well with my photographer?

If we’re not providing photography for you, we’ll work great with the photographer you chose! We’re team players! However, having photography and videography all within Like Morning Sun is ideal. Our team has an established relationship, a cohesive visual look and feel, and a calm and relaxed approach to the wedding day.

Can we get raw footage?

Raw footage is awkward to watch and it doesn’t provide a great experience for our couples. We offer a Wedding Documentary which is usually what couples are looking for when they ask for raw footage. A Wedding Documentary is all of the usable footage from your wedding in one easy-to-watch video. Usually it’s about 60 minutes long with all the good stuff – getting ready, full length ceremony, full-length speeches, dancing, and all the sweet in-between moments.
