Three Arch Bay + Top of the World Park in Laguna Engagement Photos
Hunter contacted me a few weeks before he proposed to Morgyn on Catalina Island, asking if I would help him set up a proposal at Buena Vista Point overlooking the city of Avalon. We took the Catalina Express over in the morning, got the spot all set up, and then waited for Hunter + Morgyn to arrive.
Morgyn was so surprised that she couldn’t contain her smiles + laughter. She said yes & the crowd of tourists at the overlook erupted into cheers. We spent a little more time taking a few portraits overlooking the beautiful views, and then Hunter + Morgyn were off to lunch and to celebrate the rest of the day as a newly engaged couple!
Alyssa + Hank are the sweetest! We met at thomas f riley wilderness park in Coto de Caza one afternoon and spent a few hours walking the trails, frolicking in the grass, and creating some beautiful engagement photos for them. The sun was shining and the rolling hills and big oak trees were the perfect setting. It had just rained the whole week leading up to their shoot, and everything was green and full of life!
They’ll be getting married at the riverbed farm in Anaheim, California this winter, and i’m so excited to capture their wedding day!
A few weeks ago I received an email from Bryce, letting me know that him and his girlfriend were going to be visiting from Australia, and that he wanted to propose while they were in California. He asked if i could help him capture the moment that he proposed, and of course I said yes! He decided to propose in a little patch of redwood trees in Orange County, at Carbon Canyon Regional Park.
Bryce came by earlier in the day and set up a little trail of candles and strung lights in the redwoods, the perfect scene for a proposal. I got there early and hung out behind some trees waiting for them to arrive. As soon as I saw them coming down the path I knew it was going to be a special moment. Once Cass realized what was happening, she was so excited and overcome with emotion. I stayed a bit longer and took some portraits of them as they celebrated their engagement. It was such a special moment to be a part of, and it was so sweet to see the love they had for each other.
Wishing you all the best as you plan your wedding together!! xx
I am really excited to share these engagement photos! Chelle + Jonah wanted to drive up to Angeles National Forest just north of Los Angeles for a cozy woodsy engagement session. We explored around in the trees for a while, warmed up with some hot cocoa, and then headed back down for sunset. They are so sweet & fun, and I am so excited for them.
I was also able to shoot a roll of 35mm film on my grandpa’s old Canon ae-1, so some of those photos are mixed in as well. I’m really excited about how they turned out, I shot a lot of film in college and i loved getting back to it!
Jenni & Matt are the best!! They are getting married this fall in Palm Springs, but live in New York, so decided to fly me out to do their engagement shoot in some of their favorite spots near home.
We spent the day together walking all around Manhattan hitting some of the more touristy spots (Grand Central Terminal, the subway, etc.) & some of their favorite local spots. Their apartment has an amazing rooftop with views of the city, and we took a break mid day so their dog could be in her own photoshoot (#famousinstagramdog ha!). They took me to some of their favorite bars and restaurants and we ended the night at the bar where Matt proposed to Jenni--so precious. Loved spending the day with them and can't wait for their wedding in September at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs!
