living in rwanda // selah.

my heart is full; full of the goodness that is God and his love. over the past few days and weeks, God has really been showing me what it means to be completely captivated by him.

>>luke 6:38. give, and it will be given to you. a good measure; pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. for with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

>>my heart is full of prayer for the people that live on this street near our house. we have been going on prayer walks down this street; praying for everything that we see. praying that their crops grow tall and are able to help provide. praying for the children to grow up strong and with the love that they need. praying for those who are hurting and for those who so desperately need the love of Jesus.

>>my heart is full of a growing love for our Bible study and the women who attend. i love the time that we get to spend with all of the women in our study; learning and praying and worshipping together. one of the girls in our study, solonge, is 17. she has one month old twins. they are so precious and tiny; and i pray that God fills her up with the strength and love that she needs for her journey through growing up and through motherhood.

>>my heart is full of amazement and awe of this beautiful place that God has allowed me to be.

>>psalm 62:5-8. my soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. he only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense, i shall not be moved. in God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is God. trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.
