Brett + Nicole - Sacred Sands Joshua Tree Wedding Photography + Videography
Brett and Nicole's wedding weekend in Joshua Tree was one of my favorite weddings of the year (i probably say that every time but it's true). They started out their celebrations with a costume party (since their wedding was halloween weekend) at Furst Wurld (an awesome artist compound out in the desert complete with tons of airstreams and weird desert art). They invited everyone to dress up as a bride or bridesmaid and their friends & family did not disappoint. They ended up inviting the compound owner, Bobby, to their wedding the next day and he showed up, complete with striped pants and a top hat.
The next morning, we woke up at dawn and headed out into the desert with our coffee to catch the first sight of the sun as it rose over the mountains. It was an amazing time for Brett and Nicole to spend together just soaking in every moment of their wedding day.
After everyone got ready later that afternoon, we did some family photos and a first look just before the sun disappeared back behind the mountains. The view from their venue, sacred sands bed & breakfast, was incredible. They had a beautiful ceremony at dusk and then had plenty of time to hang out with their friends and family the rest of the night. Their coordinator, emma seitz, did an amazing job pulling everything together & doing all of the florals. everything looked so beautiful.
I am just finishing up their video and will share it soon! loved being a part of such a meaningful and personal celebration of Brett & Nicole.
